Mathematics Teacher
Forms 4–5 & A-Level Mathematics
About the Role
OXIS is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and student-focused Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction to students at the Forms 4–5 and A-Level levels, preparing students for external examinations and supporting their academic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Forms 4–5 and A-Level students.
- Prepare students for iGCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments and learning materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide additional academic support where required.
- Maintain accurate student assessment records.
- Promote a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in departmental activities and professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or recognised teacher training is preferred.
- Experience teaching secondary-level Mathematics and/or A-Level Mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of the CSEC and CAPE Mathematics curricula.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to effectively use technology to support teaching and learning.
