Preparing to Launch
Preparing learners for university and beyond, helping them develop the skills that top learning institutions value
Cambridge AS & A Level
Cambridge Advanced is typically for learners aged 16+ who need advanced study to prepare for university and higher education. It offers learners two routes: Cambridge International AS & A Level, and SATs. It builds on the foundations of OXIS Upper School, although learners do not need to complete that stage before this one.
Our Advanced programme is for learners who are preparing for university. At OXIS we offer the Cambridge AS and A levels, which help learners develop independent study skills that the world’s best universities value highly.
A range of assessment methods are employed supporting frequent, detailed, personalised reporting to parents on the progress of each child. This includes comparison with children of a similar age worldwide as well as analytics on each child’s performance over time. We also forecast grades where possible. We meet each parent regularly, and hold in-depth discussions on each child’s progress
The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
OXIS offers teaching and training for preparation for the SAT examinations. These classes run for about 12 weeks, and run on a scheduled basis. Attention is very personal and we use the best tutors locally and internationally to prepare learners for the test.
This route is open to learners after the iGCSE phase as an addition to, or replacement for, Cambridge Advanced Levels
